The second match of the Serie A Women’s Cup came to an end for Como 1907 Women, with AC Milan securing a 2-1 win at the PUMA House of Football.
In a tough match against a top-tier opponent, Kyvag opened the scoring in the 21st minute for Milan. The BiancoBlu grew into the game and came out strongly after the break. In the 55th minute, Tessa Wullaert found the equalizer from the penalty spot, scoring the first official goal in BiancoBlu history in Serie A Women competitions. However, Kamczyk restored Milan’s lead in the 70th minute to seal the result. Como pushed for an equaliser late on and created several chances, but could not find a way back into the game.
The next matchup, which will wrap up Group C of the Serie A Women’s Cup, is scheduled for Sunday, September 6 at 12:30 PM, when Como Women and Como 1907 will meet for the first time.
