Como 1907 secured three points in Naples thanks to a goal scored in the 95th minute by Riola Xhemaili: the BiancoBlu thus head into the first international break with a perfect record in the league.
Selena Mazzantini's team opened the scoring in the 9th minute with Tessa Wullaert, who received the ball from Valentina Giacinti at the edge of the penalty area and found the net with a powerful right-footed curler. The home team equalized a few minutes later, in the 16th minute, when Bellucci's left-footed shot hit the crossbar before bouncing off Shore's back and into the goal.
Como didn't give up, creating chances and taking the decisive lead in the 95th minute: Pittaccio entered the penalty area and set up Wullaert; her shot was blocked by Beretta, and Xhemaili pounced on the rebound to fire the ball into the net, scoring her first goal in Serie A Women.
At the end of the match, Tessa Wullaert was named MVP of the game.
The BiancoBlu thus head into the break with six points in the standings. Their next match is scheduled for Sunday, October 28, at 12:30 p.m. in Biella, on Juventus' home field.
