Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of Italian EA FC pro player Francesco Pio "Obrun" Tagliafierro on a multi-year contract.
After winning both the eSerie A and the eChampions League last season, Como Gaming Club welcomes Obrun with the ambition to compete for further success. He will represent the Club in major official EA FC competitions, becoming a central figure in its long-term plans for gaming.
From the beginning, Como Gaming Club has been about more than tournament results. It is another way for people to discover Como, connect with the Club and share their passion for football through gaming. Bringing together sport, entertainment and digital culture, it allows that community to grow well beyond the pitch.
Obrun’s role will reflect that. Alongside competing, he will take part in content, special projects and community activities, giving supporters opportunities to get to know him and become involved. His arrival also puts Italian talent at the centre of Como’s ambitions on the international esports stage.
The multi-year agreement provides continuity as the Club develops its gaming programme, from competition and supporter experiences to collaborations with partners and gaming-related merchandise.
