Como 1907 secured a remarkable comeback win at the Curva Fiesole stadium at Viola Park, home of Fiorentina, on Matchday 10 of the Primavera 1 championship. After a difficult first half, Gianluca Falsini’s side showed great character to fight back from two goals down, eventually sealing a 3–2 victory away from home.
Como looked to take the initiative right from kick-off, pushing forward and searching for openings in the hosts' half. However, Fiorentina remained disciplined out of possession and proved far sharper on the counter-attack, capitalizing on their chances through a brace from Campaniello.
After the break, the BiancoBlu rallied and turned the game on its head inside the first twelve minutes of the second half. First, Ballone pulled one back by reacting quickest to a loose ball in the box, before Zamagni opened his account for the club with a fine strike from the edge of the area to level the score. Midway through the half, Cassano completed the turnaround with another well-taken effort from outside the box. The Lariani managed the remainder of the contest comfortably, seeing out the win without facing any real danger. This marks Como 1907’s second consecutive win in Primavera 1, following last week’s victory over Atalanta.
The BiancoBlu return to action on Saturday, 21 November at 15:00 for Matchday 11 of the Primavera 1 championship. Coach Falsini’s side will host Sassuolo at the Centro Sportivo Volontè in Rovello Porro.
