A third consecutive positive result—the fourth, counting the opening day of the Youth League—for Como 1907, who snatched a point away at Roma. The late kick-off on matchday four of the Primavera 1 Championship ended 1-1 at the Trigoria Training Centre.
Coach Falsini’s side put in a convincing first-half performance, creating two excellent goalscoring chances for Harpur, who was unfortunate to hit the post on one of those occasions. Como’s growing momentum towards the end of the first half was rewarded early in the second half: Bonsignori completed a one-two with Turella, broke into the penalty area, and lofted a delicate dink over the Roma keeper to give Como 1907 the lead. The BiancoBlu created several further chances to double their advantage, but a late goal from Roma captain Di Nunzio earned the hosts a draw.
