The Lake Welcomes a Champion – Álvaro Morata is Como

Como 1907 announces the arrival, on loan with an obligation to buy, of Álvaro Morata. A forward shaped by some of the world’s greatest teams, he arrives with a career that spans Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, Atlético Madrid, AC Milan and the Spanish national side.

With his clubs, Morata has won two Champions League titles, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Club World Cup, two Serie A titles, two La Liga titles, and one Turkish Süper Lig title. His trophy cabinet also includes the Coppa Italia, FA Cup, Europa League, and multiple domestic Super Cups.

For Spain, Morata has 86 caps and 37 goals, placing him among the country’s all-time top scorers. He captained the national team to victory at Euro 2024 and in the 2023 Nations League, leading from the front on the biggest stage.
Cesc Fàbregas said “I’ve known Álvaro for many years and I’ve always admired the way he plays and the way he carries himself. He’s an intelligent striker who has delivered in the biggest moments and a teammate who lifts everyone around him. We’re so happy to have him here at Como.”

Here are Morata’s first words in a Como shirt: ‘I’m really happy to have arrived in Como. Last year, playing against them, I was able to appreciate the team and the project; you can see that there is a lot of ambition. I promise the fans and the club that I will give 200% in every training session and every match. I can’t wait to wear this shirt.’
