The Power of Our Community 24/25

The 2024/25 season comes to an end, accompanied by a journey that goes far beyond the pitch. It has been a year made of people, relationships, and projects that tell the deeper story of Como 1907. Four key areas — education, health, inclusion & marginality, and community engagement — have guided the club’s efforts through initiatives that reflect its identity, alongside new projects born from the desire to grow together with the local community.

Como 1907 firmly believes in the value of education and in engaging with the younger generations. This season saw the launch of school projects such as Respect & Play, aimed at teaching young supporters the principles of fair play through both theory and practice, and Piscinin, dedicated to promoting motor development and well-being among primary school children. The club’s commitment to education also found space at the stadium with I Guerrieri, a series of comic books distributed at every home match, designed to introduce young fans to the club through stories of inclusion, belonging, and sportsmanship. These initiatives create a bridge between school, stadium, and community, with the goal of growing together through the shared values of sport.

Como 1907 is committed to promoting an accessible sport, one capable of breaking down barriers and fostering inclusion. Among the most significant projects is MSNA Sport, an educational program for minors facing challenging circumstances, combining physical activity with emotional support. With Inclusivity Bus, the club offered a free service to help fans with motor disabilities reach the stadium and experience the thrill of matchday. For blind and visually impaired supporters, collaboration with Connect Me Too introduced live match commentary with audio description, allowing them to follow every moment of the game in real time and making football truly accessible to all.

The club also reaffirmed its commitment to health with two important initiatives during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. With La prevenzione in piazza, Como 1907 provided free mammograms in collaboration with ASST Lariana. Meanwhile, Il talento della malattia, a performance by the IMperfect association, brought to the stage stories of women who have transformed illness into strength, delivering a powerful message of resilience and hope. The focus on health extended to younger generations through Un salto oltre lo zucchero, a project in middle schools designed to educate students on healthy lifestyles and conscious food choices. For the youngest, Como 1907 donated seven Tytocare devices to Sant’Anna Hospital, helping improve remote medical monitoring for children with complex health conditions.

Throughout the season, Como 1907 also promoted a wide range of initiatives to engage children and families, creating genuine moments of connection. From Baby Grown, a project that gives a onesie to every newborn in Como as a way of welcoming them into the Como 1907 family, to over 3,300 notebooks donated to students in the city’s 27 elementary schools through the Back to School project. At the Sinigaglia Stadium, Father’s Day brought parents and children together for a creative, engaging experience, while on Earth Day, in collaboration with 3Bee, young fans took part in a green workshop with educational games and seed planting activities to support biodiversity. Finally, with Bimbi in Campo, children experienced the excitement of walking onto the pitch hand in hand with their heroes. Different initiatives, all sharing a single goal: to build real, lasting connections.

Because Como 1907 is not just a football club. It’s a community.
