The shirt that meant more

"Some shirts celebrate a season. This one helps support what comes next."

Como 1907’s Fourth Kit brought together design, football and a cause close to the Club, continuing its support for childhood leukaemia research through Quelli che... con LUCA ODV.

Football shirts often become part of the memories we keep from a season. We remember where we were when we first saw them, the matches in which they were worn and the players who made them their own.

Como 1907’s Fourth Kit will be remembered for something else too.

Created with RHUDE and adidas in a shade of lake blue, the shirt was produced in a limited run and worn during the final home match of the 2025/26 season against Parma. From the beginning, though, it was intended to do more than mark a moment on the pitch.

For the fourth consecutive season, all proceeds from the sale of the official Fourth Kit were donated to Quelli che... con LUCA ODV, the Como based association supporting research into childhood leukaemia. Since 2022, the relationship between the Club and the association has helped fund specialist scientific equipment, including the Seahorse Analyzer and the Incucyte, giving researchers more tools with which to continue their work.

For Rhuigi Villaseñor, Chief Brand Officer of Como 1907, that purpose is what gives the shirt its real meaning.

"This shirt reflects the Club’s ongoing commitment to the community. It is a special edition not only because of its design, but above all because of the story it tells. A story of courage, determination and hope."

That story began in 2011, when Andrea Ciccioni founded Quelli che... con LUCA ODV in memory of his son Luca, who faced acute myeloid leukaemia with courage, dignity and a determination that stayed with everyone around him.

Those closest to Luca still speak of the "Luca philosophy": never giving up, even when things are difficult, and continuing to look ahead with strength and purpose. The association carries that idea forward by supporting research and helping more children and families hold on to the possibility of better days.

That is why this partnership matters to the Club.

It is not only about a shirt, or one match, or one season. It is about continuing to stand beside an organisation that has turned a family’s loss into practical support for others.

For the supporters who chose the Fourth Kit, it became a way to take part in that story too. They bought something connected to Como 1907, but their support reached much further than the stadium.

Towards laboratories, families and children who deserve the chance to return to the simplest parts of life: playing football, eating an ice cream and spending time outdoors.

The shirt was worn once.

What it supports will continue for much longer.
