Third consecutive win

Lecce-Como 0-3

Como 1907 secure third consecutive victory with a 3-0 away win at Lecce

Como 1907 claimed all three points at the Via del Mare stadium against Lecce, in Matchday 33 of Serie A Enilive.

Assane Diao opened the scoring in the first half following a clever assist from Nico Paz, who linked brilliantly with Da Cunha through a backheel combination. It was Diao’s seventh goal for the BiancoBlu and the Argentine talent’s seventh assist this season.

After ending the first half one goal ahead, the Lariani doubled their lead in the 84th minute with a precise header from Edoardo Goldaniga, who converted a free-kick cross from Da Cunha. It marked the defender’s return to scoring in Serie A after more than five years.

Assane Diao sealed the result in the 91st minute with his second goal of the match, assisted by former Lecce player Gabriel Strefezza, who provided his fourth assist this season. The Senegalese winger has now scored eight league goals since his Serie A debut on 10 January—only Mateo Retegui (11) has netted more in that period. He has also taken the top spot in Como 1907’s goalscorer rankings.

With this victory, Como 1907 achieved three consecutive Serie A wins for the first time since May-June 1952—a historic milestone highlighting the team’s excellent form in the closing stages of the season.
