An afternoon to remember for Como 1907 at the Robaldo Sports Centre. On Torino's home ground, the BiancoBlu secured their first-ever Primavera 1 victory in the club's history. A 2-4 comeback win that rewards the steady progress made by Manager Falsini's side over these first three league matchdays. Following the defeat at Empoli and the home draw against Juventus, the team have now secured their first three points of the season.
After an opening half-hour of largely even play, Torino broke the deadlock by taking the lead through Befani. Three minutes later, the Granata doubled their lead from a penalty won by Bonacina and converted by Conzato. The hosts' sudden one-two punch did not demoralise Coach Falsini's side: within five minutes, Como found good rhythm and levelled the match once again with two headed goals. The first goal of the season was scored by Grilli, the captain for the day, who was in the right place at the right time from a set-piece. Two minutes later, Broggian delivered a cross for the other winger, Bonsignori, who timed his run perfectly to score the equaliser.
The half-time break didn't slow down Como's excellent finish of the first half, as they returned from the changing rooms with even greater determination and self-belief. Another free kick, taken by Bonsignori and skilfully nodded into the net by Soumah, completed the BiancoBlu's comeback in the 54th minute. Just as the hour mark was reached, Tigano also found the back of the net, again from a Bonsignori assist following a move started by Turella, the attacking winger who made his debut for Como 1907.
