Young Defender Edoardo Franzosi Joins Como 1907

Como 1907 is pleased to announce the signing of Italian defender Edoardo Franzosi, born in 2009, from Pergolettese. He will join the Under 17 squad, continuing his development within the Biancoblu youth sector.

A centre back with presence, technical ability and leadership, Franzosi distinguished himself during his time at Pergolettese. His arrival strengthens the age group and forms part of the club’s wider project to invest in a new generation of Italian players, combining technical development with personal growth.

Osian Roberts, Head of Development at Como 1907, said:

“We identified that for the 2009 group we wanted to strengthen certain positions in the summer, and one of those was centre back. We are really pleased with our scouting team because they have worked well to identify good young talents in the amateur sector. Franzosi comes to us with good athleticism and physique, he fits into our Como way of playing, he is very comfortable on the ball and technically quite good. He has all the raw attributes to be a good Como player in the future.”

Edoardo Franzosi added:
