LINKS and Como 1907 at Tardini for Special in Parma

Sport, passion and inclusion. On Saturday 7 June, the Ennio Tardini Stadium and Parco Ferrari in Parma were transformed into a grand football festival for the fourth edition of “Tardini for Special by Progetti del Cuore”, an event organised by Parma Calcio 1913 with the support of national and international institutions and partners.

A unique event that brought together 36 teams, divided across three competitive levels, to celebrate football as a universal language capable of breaking down all barriers. Over 800 people – including athletes and staff – came together for a day marked by friendship, respect and inclusion, in an atmosphere that went far beyond simple competition.

Among the standout participants were the LINKS team, the paralympic squad affiliated with Como 1907, who proudly represented our city. With commitment, enthusiasm and team spirit, they triumphed in their group at the third level, taking on determined opponents such as Union Picena, Pavia and Salernitana.

The day was crowned with a special match on the Tardini pitch, featuring the winning teams and the Parma Legends – with football greats like Zola, Bucci and Ballotta taking part – offering an emotional experience that will live long in everyone’s memory.

LINKS’ participation in “Tardini for Special” is part of their ongoing journey alongside the FIGC’s Paralympic and Experimental Football Division – a national league involving over 250 teams and 4,000 athletes, where professional clubs adopt a paralympic team, sharing values, activities and vision.

“Football can be so much more than just a game: it’s a space where you feel part of something, where every young person can discover their worth and step up to the challenge. Events like this make visible all the work we do every day to build genuine relationships through sport,” says Manuel, a LINKS volunteer and team coordinator.

For LINKS, it was an experience to live, remember, and carry in their hearts.

Because when football is inclusive, it truly is for everyone.
