QCCL & Como 1907: an unforgettable 24/25 season
The 2024/25 season has come to an end, and Como 1907 is proud to have enthusiastically supported the incredible project “Quelli Che…Con Luca.” The association was founded in memory of Luca Ciccioni, who tragically lost his life to childhood leukemia. Since 2011, “Quelli Che…Con Luca” has been funding research at the Tettamanti Laboratory at San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, with the goal of finding a cure. Over the years—and particularly throughout this season—Como 1907 has proudly embraced this cause, making it a fundamental part of the club’s identity and building a solid, meaningful partnership.
The collaboration was born from a dialogue between Andrea Ciccioni, Luca’s father, and Alessandro Giummo, a member of Pesi Massimi, a group of Como supporters. What began as an exchange of ideas soon evolved into a significant partnership for Como 1907—one that brings together sporting passion and social commitment.

Since 2022, Como 1907 has strengthened its support for “Quelli Che…Con Luca” through a range of initiatives, including dedicating the sponsorship space on the club’s third kit to the association. This decision gave the project valuable exposure, with 100% of the profits from shirt sales going directly to the cause. In the recently concluded 2024/25 season, the “Quelli Che…Con Luca” logo proudly featured on the left sleeve of that special jersey, becoming a powerful symbol of this heartfelt and important collaboration.
Thanks to these initiatives, Como 1907 has made a tangible contribution to the purchase of cutting-edge medical equipment, including the Seahorse Analyzer and the Incucyte—essential tools in advancing research on leukemia and pediatric cancers.
Beyond financial support, the club continues to use its global platform to amplify the message of the project. And the 2024/25 season carried even greater meaning: Como 1907 returned to Serie A after 21 long years, bringing the city back to the biggest stage in Italian football. It was a long-awaited and hard-earned achievement, one celebrated hand in hand with the QCCL project.

One of the most symbolic moments came during the team’s debut in Serie A in Napoli, facing the outgoing Italian champions at the iconic Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. In front of over 50,000 spectators, Como took to the pitch proudly wearing the third kit bearing the “Quelli Che…Con Luca” logo—turning that game into something greater than football itself: a message of hope and solidarity.
As further proof of the strong bond between the team, its supporters, and the project, a total of 2,651 third kits were sold during the 2024/25 season, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the association. It’s a remarkable result—one the club celebrates together with its entire community.

You can be part of this journey too by purchasing and wearing the club’s third kit, available online and in-store. Support us at Sinigaglia. Together, we’re fighting for something bigger than football.
