Como Lift the First Como Cup
27.07.2025 | Como vs Ajax | Como Cup | Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia
Como 1907 – Ajax 3-0
Scorers: Paz (pen) 27’, Baturina 46’, Douvikas (pen) 64’
Como 1907 secured the first-ever Como Cup title with a 3–0 victory over Ajax in the final played at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium.
Argentine attacking midfielder Nico Paz opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Croatian Martin Baturina doubled the lead with his first goal for the BiancoBlu. The assist for the second goal came from Jesús Rodríguez, who delivered the pass with his very first touch in a Como shirt. The match was sealed midway through the second half, with Tasos Douvikas converting another penalty — this time won by Rodríguez after another inspired play down the wing.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como, the inaugural edition of the Como Cup came to a close — an international tournament organised by Como 1907 as part of Football On The Lake. Over five days, the festival brought together football, culture, and music, with Ajax, Al-Ahli, Celtic, and Como as its main stars.
