Goals in BiancoBlu from Serie D to A for Como 1907’s Alessandro Gabrielloni
“It was an incredible feeling of happiness and relief. I believe it showed. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time. When you’re not playing, it’s not easy to wait for your chance. I waited patiently, and it finally arrived. I’m happy for the team and proud to have contributed. We are a great group, and we’ve been longing for this victory. We gave everything on the pitch, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Alessandro Gabrielloni, forward for Como 1907, reflected on his first Serie A goal and assist in yesterday’s home victory against Roma. He scored in the 93rd minute with an assist from Cutrone and then set up Paz’s tap-in in the 97th minute, securing a 2-0 win. Gabrielloni also lauded the motivation coach Fàbregas brings to the team.
“Fabregas really motivates us, but today the whole team responded. We’ve been through a difficult period where, perhaps, we deserved a few more points but were unlucky. During the week, we talked a lot and knew this would be our night. Those who came on did a brilliant job, Patrick provided an incredible assist. Everyone, even those on the sidelines, was ready to celebrate. That’s the right spirit, and it’s exactly what the coach demands of us: a winning mentality.”
