Como 1907 Announces the Signing of Mërgim Vojvoda

Como 1907 is pleased to confirm the signing of Mërgim Vojvoda on a contract running until 2028. The experienced defender joins the BiancoBlu from Torino where he has made over 100 appearances for the club.

Born in Liège, Belgium, Vojvoda came through the ranks at Standard Liège before making his senior breakthrough in the Belgian Pro League with Royal Excel Mouscron. His performances earned him a move back to Standard Liège, where he established himself as a reliable and versatile full-back.

A Kosovo international, Vojvoda has been a key figure for his national team since making his debut in 2016, amassing over 60 caps. 

Head coach Cesc Fàbregas commented:  “Mërgim brings experience, tenacity, and defensive solidity to our squad. His ability to operate in multiple defensive roles and his Serie A experience will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our backline.”
