Achille Cauli Called Up to the Italian Under-16 National Team

After scoring in the 2–0 win over Cagliari, which secured Como 1907 U17 team a place in the league play-offs with a game to spare, Achille Cauli is being called-up to Italy’s U16 squad for a double-header of friendlies against Denmark.

The 2010 born forward is enjoying a positive season. Having stepped up from the BiancoBlu’s U16 to the U17 team, he has also signed his first professional contract, and got his first call-ups to Italy’s youth national teams. Cauli’s growth perfectly reflects the work that Como 1907 aims to carry out with the young Italian talents within its academy, and he has once again been called up by coach Manuel Pasqual to join the U16 national team.

The Azzurrini will face Denmark’s U16 team in two friendly matches: first on Tuesday, April 21, at 20:30 at the “Torquato Bresciani” Municipal Stadium in Viareggio, and the second one on Friday, April 24, at 11:00 at the Olympic Training Center in Tirrenia.

Como 1907 will proudly follow Achille Cauli and wish him the very best as he represents the Italy Under-16 national team.
