Following their recent home win over Pisa SC, the Serie A season now pauses for the international break. A total of 10 Como 1907 players have been called up to represent their national teams:
Mërgim Vojvoda will join Kosovo in the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Slovakia in Bratislava on 26 March, and will also feature in either a further qualifier or a friendly against Turkey or Romania on 31 March.
Assane Diao has been called up by Senegal for two friendlies: against Peru in France on 28 March, and against Gambia in Senegal on 31 March.
Máximo Perrone and Nico Paz will join Argentina for a friendly against Guatemala on 27 March.
Martin Baturina and Ivan Smolčić will represent Croatia in two friendlies against Colombia on 26 March and Brazil on 31 March in Orlando, Florida.
Tasos Douvikas has been called up by Greece for friendlies against Paraguay in Athens on 27 March, and against Hungary in Budapest on 31 March.
Goalkeeper Noel Törnqvist has been called up to the Sweden senior squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Ukraine in Spain on 26 March, as well as a potential further qualifier against Poland or Albania. Meanwhile, 2007-born Adrian Lahdo will join the Sweden Under-19s for the European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Germany (25 March), Austria (28 March) and Greece (31 March).
Young Spanish player Álex Valle has been called up to Spain Under-21s for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Cyprus on 27 March and Kosovo on 31 March.
The Como 1907 family will proudly follow its players as they represent both Como 1907 and their respective nations.
