Como 1907 celebrates Earth Day with an educational initiative for children, in collaboration with 3Bee

To mark Earth Day, Como 1907 opened the doors of its Clubhouse to 20 young fans who took part in a unique and engaging experience focused on sustainability and biodiversity.

The initiative, organised in collaboration with 3Bee – a leading company in biodiversity protection through cutting-edge technology – offered an educational journey for children filled through games and hands-on activities.

Throughout the day, the young participants joined in interactive games designed to spark curiosity and raise environmental awareness. These included a symbolic spider’s web connecting the elements of nature, an educational memory game about pollinators, and a final workshop where each child planted seeds that will grow into flowers for pollinators – a meaningful symbol of everything they had learnt during the event.

“Stepping into the Como 1907 Clubhouse and talking about sustainability together was a unique and inspiring experience. The future belongs to our children, and it’s only right to involve them from the very beginning on a green journey, showing them the importance of biodiversity,” said the mother of one of the children who took part in the event.

This is just one of the many initiatives Como 1907 is undertaking to promote sustainability. The club’s commitment will continue in the coming days: tomorrow at EdVentura, visitors will be able to take part in new environmentally themed games, while at the Como-Genoa match, fans can look forward to sustainability-themed activations, including green prizes for supporters in the covered and separate stands. In addition, 1,000 sachets of ‘biodiverse’ seeds will be handed out, giving fans the chance to play their part in creating small ecosystems for pollinating insects.

“With our environmental education projects aimed at younger generations, we want to help shape young ‘agent of change’ and lay the foundations for a future where biodiversity and nature protection truly take centre stage,” said Davide Briganti, Senior Communication & Biodiversity Strategist at 3Bee, speaking about the company’s commitment to schools and children.

3Bee is a nature tech company that uses a scientific and technological approach to carry out land regeneration projects, such as the Oases of Biodiversity, and deliver environmental education initiatives. By working with professional beekeepers, farmers, schools, and local communities, 3Bee promotes a people-centred approach that encourages direct involvement and raises awareness of the importance of biodiversity.
