On the occasion of the National Day of Remembrance and Commitment in memory of the victims of the mafias, Como 1907 supports “Un calcio alla mafia” (Kick the Mafia out), an initiative conceived by Progetto San Francesco and promoted by the Comune of Como.
“Un calcio alla mafia” was created to spread a strong, shared message through the universal language of sport. Justice, respect for rules, and civic responsibility are the core values on which the project is based.
During the Como–Pisa match, Como 1907 will show its support for the initiative by displaying dedicated banners around the pitch, aiming to raise awareness among fans and TV audiences about social justice and the fight against all forms of crime.
By supporting Progetto San Francesco through the initiative “Un calcio alla mafia” Como 1907 reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of justice, highlighting the role of sport as an educational tool and a means of raising awareness within the community.
