Como 1907 Kicked Off the ‘Back to School’ Project

Como 1907 kicked off the ‘Back to School’ project, an initiative aimed at strengthening the bond between the club and the local community, with a particular focus on the city’s primary school students.

More than 3,300 notebooks were distributed to children across 179 classes in 27 primary schools within the municipality of Como. Some fortunate students received their new notebooks directly from two special guests, Como 1907 forwards Patrick Cutrone and Alessandro Gabrielloni.

Mira, a teacher from the Corridoni school, just a short distance from Stadio Sinigaglia, commented on the initiative: “Como 1907 is increasingly becoming an important subject for many children. For our students, some of whom are fans of the club, meeting players who are so significant to their city’s team was a dream come true.”

This initiative is part of a broader project that aims to strengthen the connection between Como 1907 and the younger generations. This year marks the beginning of several initiatives that link sport and education. Following a successful pilot edition, the ‘Piscinin’ project has now launched in Como’s primary schools, teaching children everyday subjects through sport. At the same time, Como 1907, in collaboration with Polisport, is pursuing the ‘Respect & Play’ project to educate the sportsmen and sportswomen of the future.
