Emeren is Main Partner of Como 1907

Como 1907 announces the collaboration with Emeren, an international utility-scale PV development platform, as new Main Partner.

Emeren designs cutting-edge energy power plants, led by its core values of transparency, excellence, and care – towards its clients, people, and the Planet. Its leading mission is accelerating decarbonization and expanding renewable energy infrastructure. The company has offices in Europe, the United States and China, and an operational branch in the historic centre of Como.

As part of this partnership, Emeren will develop and install an integrated PV system with storage to meet the needs of the Mozzate Training Centre. In addition, EV charging stations will be installed both in Mozzate and at the Sinigaglia stadium, where players, staff and the employees of the Club will be able to recharge their cars. Emeren’s logo will be placed on the back of the training uniform as well as on the stadium benches.

“Emeren will provide significant support in the development of structures that will allow us to be almost self-sufficient in terms of clean electricity production – commented the CEO of Como 1907, Dennis Wise – the importance of this partnership is crucial for continuing the path of attention towards the environment, a journey that began with the choice and use of hybrid cars for Club employees. The charging stations are a service that will be made available to Como 1907, from employees to players; it is a way to encourage the use of electric cars and to support those who have already made this choice”.
Matteo Villa, managing partner of Emeren, added:“We are excited to partner up with Como 1907. We firmly believe that sport is a vehicle of paramount values such as solidarity, inclusion, cooperation, and healthy competition. And Como 1907 perfectly embodies these values. Also, the Club and Emeren share the involvement towards social issues and their steady commitment to creating value for local communities. At this crucial time, sustainability and energy independence are invaluable assets. We are confident that this strategic synergy will inspire other communities and institutional actors”.
