Festival on the Shores of Lake Como
This summer, football finds its most beautiful home. From July 23 to 27, Lake Como will host the first edition of Football On The Lake – a five-day festival of world-class football, music, food, and unforgettable experiences, centered around the brand new Como Cup.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Alps and Italy’s most iconic lake, this immersive event brings together elite clubs, international fans, and a vibrant festival spirit in one of the most picturesque locations in the world.
The Football Four clubs. Four days. One trophy.
The Como Cup will see four major clubs go head-to-head in a knockout-style tournament at the historic Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, with Como 1907 defending home turf.
The Line-Up:
- AFC Ajax – Dutch giants, Eredivisie runners-up, and Europa League contenders.
- Al-Ahli Saudi FC – Newly crowned AFC Champions League Elite winners, a rising force in Asia.
- Celtic FC – Scottish champions and regulars in European competition.
- Como 1907 – Fresh off their long-awaited return to Serie A, ready to host on home soil.
Match Schedule:
- 23 July – Como 1907 vs Al-Ahli
- 24 July – Ajax vs Celtic
- 26 July – Third Place Playoff
- 27 July – Final
Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers shared his enthusiasm:
