Four goals in seven games with Como 1907 for 19-year-old Assane Diao

Assane Diao, born in 2005, is the youngest player to score at least four goals in this season’s championship. Before Diao, the last Como 1907 player to score an away goal against Fiorentina in Serie A was Marco Simone, who scored in Florence on 7 May 1989.

“We want more. These three points have helped us move up the table, but we’re not stopping there. We’re focused on winning more games, and that’s what we’ll keep working towards.”

Assane Diao scored his fourth goal of the season after being set up by Maxence Caqueret just before halftime in Como 1907’s away win at the Artemio Franchi yesterday.
