Como 1907 opened the new Serie A Enilive season with a 2–0 victory over Lazio.

Nico Paz was decisive with a standout performance: in the 47th minute, after a clever dribble, he assisted Tasos Douvikas for his first goal of the season. Then, in the 73rd minute, the Argentine midfielder struck directly from a superb free-kick, curling the ball into the top corner past Provedel.
