Football in Como is a common language that unites generations. To mark Father's Day, Como 1907 celebrated this special bond by inviting "over-70" fans to the stadium, offering them the chance to be accompanied by their children to experience the excitement of the match against Pisa together.
Among the protagonists of this initiative were Enrico and his daughter Martina. For them, the 5-0 home victory was not just a sporting triumph, but the culmination of a journey that began years ago thanks to Enrico's grandchildren—the first to introduce the family to the Lariani colors.

While fathers once guided their children's first steps into the stadium, today it is the children "giving back" that emotion to their parents. Enrico vividly recalls every moment of the match and how this passion first entered their home:
"Our passion for Como comes from the heart because it is our city's team. Five years ago, my grandchildren brought my daughter along; from that moment on, she fell in love with the Curva. After getting her season ticket, it was my daughter who started bringing me. Celebrating five goals together was an indescribable emotion."
Martina spoke on the profound significance of the day, highlighting the value of the time spent together thanks to the Club's initiative:
"This day has a special meaning for me: it is about sharing a passion that unites us, but also a double celebration. It is something unique because I was able to bring my dad to the stadium and experience an emotion with him that goes beyond football. It was an incredible experience, made even more special by an extraordinary performance from Como."

Enrico and Martina’s story spans kilometers of away trips, such as the unforgettable journey to Lecce, and historic milestones like the night of the promotion to Serie A. Projects like this confirm that Como 1907 is, above all, a generational connector capable of transforming a personal passion into a collective experience.

Ivan Smolčić did not feature in the first match but came on in the 82nd minute of the second, playing the final 8 minutes.

Tasos Douvikas started as centre-forward against Paraguay before being substituted in the 86th minute and remained on the bench for the 0–0 draw against Hungary.

Noel Törnqvist was on the bench as reserve goalkeeper for both of Sweden’s World Cup play-off matches: a 3–1 win against Ukraine and a 3–2 victory over Poland, which secured Sweden’s spot at the 2026 World Cup.

Among the younger players, Adrian Lahdo made his mark with Sweden U19s, starting in the 2–2 draw against Germany and scoring in the 68th minute. He also started in the 3–0 defeat to Austria and did not feature in the 2–2 draw against Greece, which brought Sweden’s Elite Round campaign to a close.
Álex Valle started both of Spain U21’s matches, playing 63 minutes in the 7–0 win over Cyprus, providing an assist for the fourth goal. He then played 87 minutes in the 2–0 victory against Kosovo.
