Como 1907 Strengthens Midfield With Signing Of Maxence Caqueret From Lyon

Como 1907 is excited to announce the signing of Maxence Caqueret from Olympique Lyonnais. The 24-year-old French midfielder and product of Lyons’ esteemed Youth Academy joins on a four and half year contract, committing his future with the club until June 2029.

Caqueret made his first-team debut in 2019 and earned himself a place at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship Team of the Tournament. He has since made over 147 Ligue 1 appearances.

On signing Maxence Caqueret, Cesc Fàbregas said: “Maxence is a versatile player and has the ability to dictate the tempo of the game. This with his experience at the highest levels of European football will help to strengthen the core of our squad. I’ve known him and followed his career for a while and we’re so happy to have him join us.”
