🇬🇧| Como 1907 is happy to announce the signing of Luca Mazzitelli from Frosinone on loan with an obligation to buy until 2027.

The 28 year old who began his career with Roma joins the club after scoring eight goals and providing six assists for his former club.

Cesc Fàbregas, head coach, Como 1907, commented on the deal: “Mazzitelli had a great season as an individual player in Serie A last season. He brings good experience of the league and possesses excellent leadership qualities both on the pitch and in the dressing room. He made a great effort to come and join us and this is the type of player we need at our club to keep growing the way we want. Hungry and determined to help the team.”

On signing, Luca said: “I am very happy to have signed with Como 1907. I immediately saw the great ambition and vision this club has. I can’t wait to start playing in this jersey.”

🇬🇧 | This week on a beautiful Tuesday evening in the grounds of the historic Villa D’Este, Lake Como, Rhude’s new collection was launched in front of a host of fashion influencers. The Spring 2025 collection also marked the first of a new venture for Rhude’s collections: a partnership with Como 1907. The lineup contains co-branded pieces including Lago di Como rugby tops, zip-up sweatshirts and jersey tees, along with Como 1907 ballcaps.

In 2016, Rhuigi Villaseñor, founder of the Los Angeles lifestyle brand Rhude, discovered the magic of Lake Como during a factory visit nearby. Ever since, he has returned every year, drawing inspiration from the lake’s beauty.

In today’s pre-season friendly against Cagliari, Como 1907 won 3-1. Cutrone, Belotti, and Gabrielloni scored for the Lariani’s side. Belotti scored his first goal in the Como 1907 jersey assisted by Strefezza. Academy talent Fabio Rispoli and Irish player Liam Kerrigan got some minutes in as well. Andrea Belotti spoke about his performance and his impression of the progress of the team.

“We interpreted the match very well, especially the first-half approach, with great intensity that we will need to repeat in the matches that count.

“I met Patrick twice in the national team, and this is facilitating our chemistry. We can only improve and I think we are on the right path to form a great attacking department with Gabrielloni.”

Como 1907 is delighted to announce the signing of one of the brightest talents from Asia, Ali Jasim from Al-Kahrabaa. The player completed his medical yesterday in Paris where he is preparing for the Olympics and has signed a three year contract with the club.

The 20 year-old Iraq-born winger who spent this season on loan with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya made his Iraqi Premier League debut at just 14 years old.
An Iraq International Jasim already has 13 senior caps under his belt including a standout performance in the AFC U23 Asian Cup where he was named top goal scorer at the tournament.

On bringing Jasim to the club Cesc Fàbregas, head coach, Como 1907, said: “We believe Jasim has the potential to develop quickly here with us in Como. He has already made a big impression on the national team and Asian Champions League and we hope to see this translate to making an impact in Italy as soon as possible in the upcoming season.”

On signing, Ali commented: “I am thrilled to announce my signing with Como 1907. This is a significant milestone in my football career, and I am grateful to everyone who has supported and helped me reach this point. I am excited to start this new chapter in Italy and look forward to giving my best with Como 1907. On July 20, the first edition of Cinesport Night was held at the Nidrino Sports Centre in Brunate. It was a day dedicated to sport that finished with an open-air movie screening, in collaboration with @olocreativefarm , a production studio based in Como.

The event offered a series of sports activities for young people, with workshops, talks with athletes and documentary screenings. Como 1907 supported the event with a strong commitment to make sport accessible to children. @giacomo.degani , president of the @centrosportivonidrino , spoke about the importance of the event.

“During the lessons, the children learned about the importance of sport as a base for a healthy life and as a way to better manage their emotions. From the talk with athletes they learned how sport is fundamental in teaching us to cope with life in the best possible way.

“The night ended with a screening of ‘King Richard’, which was well received by the audience.”
